globalitation and nationalism

The globalitations era just one result of the development on this 20th century. And this urges many adaptations of institution in a nation, so it can be able to adapt vastly. The nation which is able to adapt vastly and in order will open the big opportunity in globalization era to guarantee the grade of the prosperity of the state and the civilian.
The globalization era handles a larger rule in the creativity of the civilian by the technology, information and communication, politic, or the element of society organization. Every single civilian including us the young generation, has obligation and also will become an honor if able to invert motivation, arrangement, condition, and chance that needed to grow and develop the creativity of Indonesia.
The globalization has two faces, it can be a threat but also a challenge for the advance of our nation. The globalization can be a threat because it brings the negative influences and the dangerous power for the entire and the continue life of our nation. And it can be a challenge that brings us to advance because the era globalization also gives the positive influences. Effect of this globalization be negative or positive depends to us. That’s why every nation must be able to prepare the effective ways so that this globalization era truly gives us the advantages. Face the globalization makes us have to capable in abridge and actuate tough nation in interaction with the world, but still stand on our ideology and expand the mean of our nationalism.
The globalization era signed by develop of knowledge and technology so fast, and no one can stop it. Through this era, every nation and state faces the new era where the border between the states be fade so the mobilization and dynamic of the society are increasing. Because of the fade of the border between the states in this era, there is an inclination that we start to leave our nation ideology. We turn around to all of the advances that offered by the globalization. At last, we forget what is called nationalism.
The biggest effect of this globalization era to us the young generation. All of the eases and advances, the technology, information, etc. makes us turn of what we called nationalism, the sense of loving our nation. This inclination comes from our self. Be a global generation is important. Of course we all don’t want to stay behind by the advance of technology and information. But the information and technology sometimes makes us prefer want to know what is happening in another country to our own country. And also possible if we more trust or believe foreigner opinion than from our nation.
With the fact that the advance of technology and information handled by the west country, so the current of information is just one way (monologue), and finally we think that west country is the source of technology and the developing country like Indonesia just the information receiver. The limited of technology that has by the developing country like Indonesia, makes the dialog of information seems so hard. This makes the world seems approve the opinion that the best ideology, politic, economy, social and culture, law, and security defense must based on the west standard. This opinion comes of what I said, the information current just one way, and because the world has seen the success of the west country. Then, there is a will of us to follow their life style, want to be like them, and forget the real we are.
So, probably it’s true if the globalization scrapes the nationalism. Sense of loving the nation maybe will just be an old proverb and forgotten by the people one day. That’s all because the effect of the globalizations and no one can avoid it. We all forget a fact, that what make our nation still exists in this globalizations era is our nationalism. If we forget the nationalism, of course we will be so weak and can be intervened by the stronger nation. We all do not wish it will happen. So, this is the time to grow our nationalism, so that we can reach our aspiration without forget our ideology, and still be a nation that takes a part in this globalitation era. Albert Einstein ever said, “ The value of a man resides of what he gives, and not what is he capable receiving.” By growing the nationalism in ourself, of course we can give the best to our beloved Indonesian Country
